Today is the beginning of TW’s 3 day tent sale. 9 to 5. Nags Head Location.

 

Surf Fishing Report:
Sea mullet and Bluefish north of Oregon Inlet.

The winds are N at 18 and the water temp is 70 degrees. The sun is shining; water is choppy and fairly clear, really windy.


Sound Fishing Report:

The anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching Trout, Stripers and Croakers this morning.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Sea mullet.

Nags Head: Bluefish

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Pompano.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats caught citation Cobia. Spanish Mackerel fishing was good for nearshore anglers. Albacore and plenty of Bluefish were also caught. The Oregon Inlet Headboat fishing inside the inlet caught Sea Mullet, Puffers, Croakers, Spot and Flounder.  

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet brought in some sizable Tuna with one Yellowfin weighing in at 102 lbs and Bigeyes weighing 126 and 157 lbs. Wahoo and plenty Dolphin were caught as well. There were also Sailfish releases.
