Surf Fishing Report:
A few Bluefish and Sea Mullet. Should be some Pompano caught.

The winds are WSW at 14 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Small waves, Blue skies, crystal clear water. Expecting to reach 93 degrees today.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum and also small Stripers. You can’t keep them, but they are going to bite anyway.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Pompano, Spanish, Bluefish, Triggers and Spadefish.

Nags Head: Loads of Bluefish and Spanish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish and a 1.3# Pompano

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore report consisted of Spanish, big amount of Bluefish and Albacore. Cobia fishing was slow.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Bigeye Tuna fishing was good again yesterday with one monster weighing in at 151 lbs. Another exceptional day for Dolphin catches with a great many gaffers plus stout Yellowfin. There was a White Marlin and 2 Sailfish releases.
