Surf Fishing Report:
There is no fishing news. Everyone is getting ready for Christmas. There is a boat ramp right down from house and I could see one car and boat trailer in the parking lot yesterday so not everyone is shopping. The sound was extremely high with white caps.
The partial government shutdown is causing some problems with the parks and attractions on the Outer Banks. The Wright brothers National Memorial is closed. Some areas of the seashore are accessible but could change at the drop of a hat. If you are traveling to the Outer banks for the Holidays you should be aware of this.
The winds are NW at 6 and the water temp is 50 degrees. Sunny, light winds, small swells.
