Surf Fishing Report:
Really slow fishing. Scattered small Bluefish and some Sea Mullet.
The winds are WSW at 10 and the water temp is 63 degrees. The air temp hit 97 degrees in KDH yesterday. Another hot one today. Flat chilly water.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow fishing. A few Trout and bottom fish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Spadefish, Pinfish and Pigfish.
Outer Banks: A no keeper Puppy Drum, a throwback Striper. Slow.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore caught Trout and had Drum releases.
Offshore Boats Report:
Most of the charter boats fished the Alice Kelly Billfish Tournament this weekend. There were 92 boats fishing. There were approximately 102 Billfish caught. A few Yellowfin and Wahoo were caught yesterday.
