Drum and Bluefish Bite Is Hot
The wind has been pretty relentless the last few days, but fish are definitely being caught!
This weekend proved that anglers are still finding nice Trout in the Sound!! Captain Jed Dixon with @absolut_charters caught a nice 24” one yesterday. There are still reports of Stripers and Puppy Drum around the sound too!
The Drum and Bluefish bite is also hot right now! @reelisticfishingcharter has been reeling in the Blues! Shop employees Kyle and Travis headed South to get in the Drum action! Down around Oregon Inlet, Eric Hoepber found some Red and Black Drum.
Surf fishing continues to be the same with reports of Sea Mullet, Blowtoads, Red Drum, Black Drum, and Bluefish primarily on the southern beaches.
