The Drum and Bluefish continue to bite along our coast! There were lots of Puppy Drum to be caught from the surf and in the sound. There were some nice big Red Drum caught down at the point last night until the sharks started to show up. We heard reports of some more nice sized Black Drum caught today again!

Today’s catches from the surf and piers included mostly Bluefish, but there were also a few Sea Mullet and Blow Toads caught as well. The inshore anglers have been catching nice Puppy Drum and Stripers further inland. @saltywatersobxfishing and @mott_ridge_charters have been getting after it almost daily! Anglers fishing on the southern beaches have been catching Drum, Blues, Sea Mullet, and Croakers.

Boats that went offshore had a slower start, but returned to the marinas with Tunas!

If you’re headed out fishing, stop by and check out or bait selection. Live Eels and Fiddlers are back in stock for the season! Our coolers are also stocked with fresh Mullet, Shrimp, Bloodworms, and Nightcrawlers.
