Easter Fishing Report
We hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating Easter today! The Easter bunny may have brought candy, but the weekend brought plenty of fish!
From Drum and Bluefish, to Yellowfin and Wahoo, it was a spectacular weekend to be on the water. Anglers fishing from the piers hooked up to some Red Drum, Black Drum, and Bluefish of all sizes. Anglers from the surf caught some Bluefish, Puppy Drum, and some big Drum off the southern beaches. @j_mallory05 caught a nice Bluefish from the surf today and @nc_travis caught a nice big Red Drum down south. Nearshore fisherman also got in on the action and had good reports of Red Drum, Black Drum, Bluefish, and Sheepshead. @reelisticfishingcharters took out Lucas and his Dad and they were able to get some nice Bluefish, Black Drum, Puppy Drum. The offshore bite was on for Tuna and even a few Wahoo! @finplannersportfishing @afishionadocharters and @bluechipsportfishing had great trips recently coming back to the docks with plenty of Tunas and a nice Wahoo!
Turkey season continues here in eastern North Carolina! While some hunters may not have had luck, there were plenty of others who were able to call a gobbler in. @tanner_brinkley2 got a nice one on Saturday!
