It’s been an epic week of fishing, and the week’s not over yet!

The annual hunt for Cobia is on! Loads of boats have been heading out the inlet, but staying nearshore in search of their chance to catch a Cobia. We had the pleasure of weighing Hunter Clark’s Cobia along with Stefan Turkos! Check out the other nice fish caught with @stick_em_obx @saltywatersobxfishing @above_c_level_adventures @absolut_charters @afishionadocharters to mention a few! Nearshore anglers are also catching Bluefish, Bonita, Drum, and Spanish! We also heard of reports of some Pompano and Sheepshead near Oregon Inlet in recent days as well.

The piers have also had great action for those who weren’t able to get on the water in a boat! There have been reports of Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Bonita and Sea Mullet. Surf fishing has similar catches with nice sized Puppy Drum, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

The offshore boats have had an exciting week with productive Blue Marlin fishing as well as good Tuna fishing! @finplannersportfishing had a great day today offshore chasing the Tunas and bringing back plenty to the dock! The fishing should continue to heat up as we approach summer!
