Excited for April Fishing
March did its usual thing and came in like a lion and is luckily going out like a lamb! April is almost here and we couldn’t be more excited!
Fishing is finally beginning to really pick up with more fish being caught everyday! It was a fun weekend for Drum and Sea Mullet! There were reports of a few Drum bites! Josh Mallory got a nice 44” last night! More Puppy Drum have been being caught in the surf and sound with good reports south of the Oregon Inlet Bridge. Hopefully, we’ll continue to see more throughout the coming weeks! We’d also like to wish Justin Stewart of the Kitty Hawk shop a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He was able to catch a nice Sheepshead during an early birthday fishing session!
Inshore fishing continues to be good Striper and Drum fishing! Our inshore charter captains @mott_ridge_charters and @saltywatersobxfishing have had successful trips catching nice sized Puppy Drum and a bunch of Stripers!
The offshore boats are still catching some nice Tunas! There have been a mixture of a few Yellowfin and Bluefins.
