Exciting Start to September
It’s been an exciting start to September! From tricky surf fishing conditions to Drum being caught off the piers we are so excited to see what Fall has in store for us!
We’ve had an exciting Drum bite with the recent windier conditions. However, the wind is done so the Drum bite will probably subside until the next blow. The piers are currently catching Sea Mullet, Spot and Bluefish this evening. The piers are currently a hot spot as surf fishing has been difficult for anglers to keep bottom even with decent amounts of sinkers. Hopefully, the Drum bite will continue throughout the week given the forecasted conditions.
It has been ideal conditions for Trout fishing on the soundside and should be great Spanish and Bluefish conditions with Glass Minnows on the surf or Gotchas on the piers.
