Fall fishing continues to be interesting. It’s been challenging at times, but we sure have seen some good catches lately!

The windier conditions have made it trickier to navigate finding the fish! However, they are definitely out there! Lyle Bayer caught a 23” Trout in Kitty Hawk Bay this morning! Dannie from Buchanan, VA also caught a beautiful citation Trout weighing 5lb 4oz caught in the sound Tuesday morning. Outside of Speckled Trout, inshore anglers are still finding some Puppy Drum, Sheepshead and Flounder.

Surf fishing and pier fishing hasn’t slowed done yet either! They’ve been catching Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout, Pinfish, and Spot. The NCBBA Red Drum Tournament is currently taking place and while we haven’t seen an updated leaderboard, it sounds like some decent fish have been caught! Good luck to all the teams!

Offshore boats kicked off the week with some nice trips that resulted in some full coolers. Lots of Dolphins and some Tunas for the boats! We look forward to seeing what comes back to the docks next!
