Looks like Jerry Winningham found his pot of gold for St. Patrick’s Day! The first citation drum of the year was caught this morning at the Point. A nice 40in+ drum is getting us eager for drum fishing to really ramp up.
Fishing continues to be productive in the sound. We got a few reports of a good Trout bite in the sound this morning. Nice Stripers are still being caught and released. The puppy drum are also around! Surf fishing continues to be stronger on the southern beaches with reports of decent sized black drum, puppy drum, and some Sea Mullet.
