First Day of Fall
Today marks the first day of Fall! Looks like we can count on some good fall fishing and some pretty weather to get us started!
The latest reports include Bluefish, Trout, Puppy Drum in the Sound. There are still anglers looking for Sheepshead and while they haven’t been as prevalent lately, we did weigh a nice 12lber Friday evening.
Small Pompano, Spot, Croaker, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Drum and being caught from the surf and the piers. There are plenty of Sharks, Sting Rays, and Ribbonfish being caught from the surf and the piers as well. It’s looking like we’ll have good surf fishing conditions this week as the swell starts to lay out around Tuesday.
Offshore fishing has been good for the boats that have been going out. A few Yellowfin, Blackfin, Mahi, and Wahoo are being reported, but more importantly the White Marlin and Sailfish fishing continues to be very productive!
