Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

We truly couldn’t ask for a better start to June! Gorgeous weather, clear water, and lots of fish!

The piers have been seeing a lot of fish caught this week! If the parking at Jennette’s today was any indication, it’s clear people weren’t just parking for a day at the beach! There were finally some reports of Sheepshead showing up this week! There were also reports of Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Spanish caught as well.  Surf fishing continues to see nice sized Sea Mullet caught. We had a few citations come in this week! There are Blues and Spot being caught as well. Not to mention, the Dolphins have been showing off as well!

Those that fished nearshore are still occasionally catching Cobia, but it seems the season is coming to an end. However, there’s been some nice big Drum caught along with Spanish as well.

Soundside fishing continues to be rewarding! Lots of nice sized and limits of Trout being caught! @saltywatersobxfishing has had a luck on trips this week catching nice Trout and Puppy Drum! Paul and Dan from Buxton sent us their pictures of their released citation Speckled Trout! We’re also still getting reports of Sheepshead and Puppy Drum with some Bluefish mixed in as well.

The offshore boats continue to catch Mahi and Tuna! There have been some Marlin caught as well! @finplannersportfishing has been having spectacular luck!
