Fishing is taking its time warming up just like the temperatures! Although it’s finally Spring, some days have been cooler and windier than we’d like. Hopefully we’ll see an improvement throughout and towards the end of next week. It looks like we’ll finally see consistent days above 60 degrees by then!

Conditions remain the same since our last fishing report with most of the action on the southern beaches. A few Puppy Drum have been making an appearance when the conditions have been favorable even though plenty of anglers have been hoping for a bite. They are still catching Dogfish and Skates on the northern beaches, but hopefully the Puppy Drum will show our way soon. There have been a few Shad from the piers so hopefully that means more productive fishing is coming.

Inshore fishing has been great for Striper fishing. @mott_ridge_charters have been busting them up on recent trips! There have been reports of Puppy Drum occasionally in a few honey holes in the sound. The Trout seem to still be tucked up in the sound, but hopefully we’ll see more once the water temps get a little warmer. Can’t forget about the Bass being caught as well! Jonah caught this nice Bass while using some swim baits he picked up in the store!

And shoutout to our local anglers who’ve been heading South in search of different species than we see here on the OBX. @nc_travis caught a nice Permit while Spring Breaking in the FL Keys!
Our Spring deliveries are arriving daily! Make sure you check in with us to see what new gear we are stocking for the 2025 season!
