Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads! We hope you are enjoying this beautiful day!
It was a great weekend for fishing whether you were in a boat, on the pier or on the beach! The piers are still reporting Bluefish and Spanish as well as Triggerfish, and Sea Mullet. Some small Cobias are still being caught occasionally as well. Sheepshead are also being caught from the piers and around the bridges, but the spear fisherman also found some nice sized Sheepshead. Bryan Evans, from Edenton, speared a 9.12lber. Chris Hunter @chris5hunter speared a 10.35lber and 6.75lber while fishing some wrecks.
Surf fishing has been good Bluefish and Spanish on metals. There are nice sized Sea Mullets when you can locate a good hole. Further south there have been some larger Pompano caught too. @nickscustomrods has been proof!!
Inshore fishing continues to be great Trout fishing! @reelisticcharters caught some studs this morning with two released citations! Bluefish and Drum continue to be caught as well.
Offshore has been good Tuna fishing with reports of limits of Big Eyes today. Some boats even caught Bluefins yesterday. There have been Yellowfins, some Tilefish and Mahis brought back to the docks as well.
