Corolla to Nags Head Sound

It wasn’t a good day to be a Cobia, but it was a good day to be fishing!

It’s Cobia time! And while we don’t know how long this bite will last, we’re stoked that plenty of boats got in the meat today! Stop by and get rigged up with eels and Bucktails if you’re in need! We have lively eels and every color combination Bucktail you can imagine. Don’t forget about our new Pink and Chartreuse Bucktail design on t-shirts and hoodies!  Barrett Rich caught his 39lb. Cobia while seeing a ton more of them swimming around the area today!

There is still great Bluefish fishing from the surf and piers! Same goes for the Trout! While the Trout are a little more scattered depending on the time of day, there are plenty of Sea Mullet and a few Puppy Drum and Black Drum mixed in as well! Also sounds like the Sheepshead are starting to make a an appearance down near the Bonner Bridge Pier! We have plenty of Fiddler Crabs if you’re looking to Fiddle around this weekend!

Inshore fishing continues to produce nice sized Trout and Drum. The Little Bridge has had its fair share of anglers in the early AM and late in the PM!

The offshore fishing has continued to pick up with nice catches of Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi as well!
