Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Fishing was been very good over the weekend! King Mackerel and Cobia showing up on some of the local piers, as well as good amounts of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish on gotcha plugs! The folks bottom fishing on the piers have been catching Sea Mullet, Spot, Croaker, Sand Perch, and Skates.

The big Speckled Trout continue to be caught on the sound side. Some of our local guides are saying it's the best class of fish they have seen in a while! We were sent a picture of a monster Trout caught by AJ Seffels from. Jamestown, NC. The fish was over 28 inches and caught on a live Mullet! Along with the Trout there have been good reports of Drum in the sound near Oregon Inlet.

The anglers fishing in the surf have reported Flounder, Sea Mullet, Pompano, Bluefish, Croaker, Stingrays, and some nice size Red Drum. David Wayne managed himself a rare summer time Big Drum off the north beach! We have some weather coming through mid week, but this weekend looks good! Stop by the shop for some Fresh bait and get rigged up for success!

The offshore fleet has reported good catches of Yellowfin and Big Eye Tuna. However, the sharks have been limiting the amount of fish that actually make it to the boat... We have also heard reports of good Dolphin fishing and a few big Wahoo landed!
