Effects of Hurricane Lee are approaching and we’re excited! While the tumultuous waters make it tricky for fishing, we know it gets the fish stirred up!

Surf fishing has been pretty productive the last few days and should continue to heat up even with the intensifying swells. Lots of Puppy Drum have been scattered around the area, but Bluefish, Sea Mullet, and Pompano are also being caught. Stop by and grab lead and Sputniks to help hold bottom while Hurricane swells take over.

We also want to wish the Looney Tuna Ladies a HUGE congratulations on their epic win at the Little Hatteras Tournament! Check out the pic of the winning ladies team!

Soundside fishing has also been productive with the gorgeous conditions we’ve had the last few days. Lots of Flounder have been reported so we know y’all are anticipating an exciting gigging season! Hurry up September 15th!! Stop by to get all rigged up! Big Drum should show back up soon with the expected forecast. Otherwise Puppy Drum, Sheepshead, and beautiful Speckled Trout continue to be caught.

The piers have been catching Spanish, Blues, Sea Mullet, and Puppy Drum. However, we are expecting the fishing to heat up the next few days as long as the piers stay fishable depending on the wind!

The fleet has continued to catch an array of Billfish with some Wahoo and Dolphin mixed in.
