Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

These summer like temps are getting us in a fishy mood. If only the water temps would catch up!

Lots to report, but most importantly, there are still plenty of big Bluefish all over. From the surf to the sound, it’s not hard to find one these last few days! If Sea Mullet is what you’re after you’ll find some on the piers and in the surf. Puppy Drum have been caught in the surf and sound and many have found them down around Oregon Inlet. The Big Drum are starting to show up closer to Oregon Inlet as well! There have been a few good bites down near Cape Point as well as closer to Nags Head. The Trout fishing is currently the most productive in the sound when the Bluefish aren’t around, but you may find some from the surf in certain honey holes.

Cobia have been around as well! They’re catching them  nearshore between Jennettes Pier and Hatteras. While not many boats were able to find any today, earlier in the week was pretty good for some boats! Be sure to stop in and check out our new Bucktail design for any anglers who love to catch Cobia!

Offshore boats are having a big time with the Tuna! Lots of boats are heading out and catching limits of Tunas and some Mahi too.
