Speckled Trout in The Sound
It has been a gorgeous week and it’s really starting to feel like summer! The holiday weekend really kicked off with spectacular fishing, sunny skies, and warm weather!
The talk of the town has been the Speckled Trout in the sound. They continue to show up daily whether you’re fishing from the Little Bridge or headed out on an inshore fishing charter! There have been reports of Bluefish, Puppy Drum, and some Sheepshead caught as well! We got a fresh delivery of Fiddler Crabs today if you’re looking to fiddle around!
Nearshore boats have been catching Cobia and Spanish! It’s been an exciting Cobia season thus far and we hope to see more caught before they’re gone!
The piers have been reporting Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spanish, and some Spot. Surf fishing has been great Sea Mullet fishing with some reports of good Bluefish fishing as well. This weekend is shaping up to have some pretty weather and hopefully some favorable fishing conditions.
Offshore boats continue to catch Yellowfin, Dolphin, and Tilefish. Good luck to those fishing the Heroes Benefit Tournament this weekend!
