Spring Break Fishing Report
It’s spring break here on the island for the locals as well as for some of our visitors and they sure took advantage of the beautiful weather and fishing!
The Bluefish are still a plenty with lots of big ones biting! Check out Finn with this “100th” Bluefish! Here’s to “100” more! Ha! There were some good schools of Drum nearshore and inshore as well. Shop employee Robbie got into them on a kayak today! @reelisticfishingcharters has been going out daily with good reports of Red and Black Drum down south. Lucas and Matt had luck again catching some pretty ones nearshore!
The Black Drum were certainly biting today too. We had the pleasure of weighing in a nice Black Drum citation weighing in at 40 lbs. The big red Drum have finally started to show up on the southern beaches with some nice bites in the evening. Shop employees Kyle and Travis had good luck as well.
