Summer Is in Full Throttle
Summer is in full throttle and so is fishing! Lots of anglers are giving their best shot on the surf, piers, and in the sound!
There continues to be reports of Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spot and even some Flounder on the surf. @the_saltwater_cowboy had an epic Spanish bite off the surf on the beaches down south. Ethan Harris caught a handful of drum off the beaches of KDH kayak fishing on Monday! The piers are reporting some Spanish and Sheepshead along with Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Spot.
Inshore fishing continues to be a popular spot with reports of Trout, Sheepshead, Puppy Drum, Bluefish, Ribbonfish, and sharks. @fowlhookedsportfishing had some awesome trips this week so far! @mott_ridge_charters hasn’t given up on the Trout! Jason Rawlings, Zach Bland, and Robert Bland caught some Specks on @ufocharters. Jacob Mitchell sent us his picture of a Large Mouth Bass caught back in Kitty Hawk!
