Sorry there has not been a fishing report for the past week but our report lady had surgery and the Stewart family was out having fun! :)
Surf Fishing Report:
Beautiful sunny day here on the Outer Banks. Wind is out of the SE at 10-15. Water temp is 77 degrees. Assorted small bottom fish being hooked from the northern beaches. Few puppy drum, blues and bottom fish south of Oregon Inlet.
Sound Fishing Report:
Couple of puppy drum, flounder and trout.
Little Bridge reporting some croaker, sea mullet and a few puppy drum. Also a nice evening run yesterday of blues and Spanish on lures.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bottom fish and Cobia.
Nags Head: Small cobia and few bottom fish.
Jennette’s: Sea mullet, spot and blues.
Outer Banks: Croaker, spot and sea mullet.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Kings, drum, Spanish, blues and a few flounder.
Oregon Inlet Bridge producing some pretty sheepshead.
Offshore Boats Report:
The Big Boats had some good catches of dolphin with occasional yellowfin tuna, wahoo, blue and white marlin. Hope the billfish keep coming and remember to bring all their friend for the Pirates Cove tournament starting in 2 weeks with the Alice Kelly on August 9th.
