The first annual TW's Coastal Angler Tournament Series comes to a close at 9pm tonight! Good luck to everyone fishing today, we hope to see some more fish hit the scales!

- Fishing on the sound side has been excellent this week thus far. Lots of Big Trout continue to be caught in the sound from Hatteras to Kittyhawk! Will Kiser from the Peake Fishing Crew caught a and released a monster 26 inch Trout on a topwater while wading the sound side south of Oregon Inlet! It goes to show that you don't need a boat to get out there and find some quality fish! The Inshore fleet has also had good luck with Drum on the flats around the inlet, with quite a few 30-38 inch fish being landed. Along with the Trout and Drum, the Sheepshead bite continues at Oregon Inlet Bridge. Phil stopped by to weigh a monster 11.2lb Sheepshead he caught! We have plenty of Live Fiddler Crabs and Sheepshead Jigs/Rigs in stock!

- The surf has been a little quieter the last couple of days with only a handful of reports of Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spot, and Black Drum being caught.

- The piers have been reporting a good run of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish in the mornings and evenings on Got-cha Plugs. There was a nice 38-inch cobia caught on Outer Banks Pier by Sam Ream from Cincinnati, Ohio! Those bottom fishing from the piers have reported Sea Mullet, Spot, and Skates.
Offshore fishing has been very good as long as you can get away from the sharks. Reports of Big Eye Tuna, big Yellowfin, Blue Marlin, and plenty of Dolphin have come in over the last couple of days. We had one group stop by this week and weigh a 54lb cobia caught while bottom fishing for Sea Bass, the young Angler said the fish ate a Sea Bass he was reeling in right next to the boat!
