Good luck and tight lines to everyone fishing in the Hatteras Village Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament this week!
We have some tough conditions on tap and continuing through tomorrow. While the current conditions make it a bit challenging, it sounds like it’s good news for Drum fishing! There have been reports of Drum on the piers and around Oregon Inlet. There has also been reports of some Bluefish and Ribbonfish mixed in as well. We have also heard reports of big Bluefish, Drum and Sea Mullet down at Bonner Pier.
The billfish fishing offshore has really picked up. As we approach the end of summer, we are excited to see how the fleet does over the next few weeks! Keep those flags flying!
