Fishing reports around the island remains relatively the same and pretty typical for the this time of year. Even though we are not so patiently waiting for Spring, it’s been exciting to see what the inshore anglers are catching. @twitch_carolina Lawrence Benner caught this gator Trout yesterday 29”+ and weighed in at 7.12lbs. @mott_ridge_charters caught Stripers and Puppy Drum over the weekend. @saltywatersobxfishing Ben Morris caught some Trout and Stripers as well.
With the forecasted Southwest winds the next few days, we expect to hear more reports of Puppy Drum being caught down near Oregon Inlet!
If you’re heading offshore, the tuna fishing is still going off! Lots of giant Bluefins being caught and released, as well as Yellowfins, and Blackfins making their way back to the docks!
