In Summary:

In the past 36 hours we have had Northerly winds ranging between 10 to 20kts. Throughout the day yesterday, it continued to blow just hard enough where it was a little difficult to hold bottom. Other than that, just another beautiful day on the Outer Banks! Today, the winds have diminished to 10-15kts. Similar conditions except a little prettier. Today could be your day to catch your trophy!

Surf Fishing Report:

Up on the Northern Beaches today have been a little slow but still producing Dogfish and Skates.  If we can keep this halfway pretty weather around then we should start seeing Puppy Drum soon! As you venture to the south, Hatteras and Ocracoke are still catching Puppy Drum as well as a few big drum. Hopefully in another week, Spring fishing will be in full swing!

Sound Fishing Report:
The sound fishing the past few months have been very slow. With this warmer weather the sound fishing should start to kick off soon! The Puppy Drum fishing around the inlet, on the flats and in the channels could happen tomorrow!

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Closed

Nags Head: Closed

Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates

Outer Banks: Closed

Inshore Boats Report:
Slow going the past few weeks. There has been very few boats that have pursued it lately.

Offshore Boats Report:

To my knowledge, no boats tried it yesterday(or if so one or two boats), due to the winds. Today may be the same case but a couple may have been brave and charged it.
