TW's Daily Fishing Report- 03/20/2015
It’s a rainy day here on the Outer Banks but at least it’s not freezing! We have got southeast winds around 15kts and an air temperature right at 48 degrees. The water temperature at the end of duck pier this morning is staying pretty consistent at 43 degrees. Most people would stay inside today to stay dry but what fun is that when you can go catch fish!

Surf Fishing Report:
From the beaches in Corolla all the way through South Nags Head we have had a few reports of people landing Skates and Dogfish in high hopes of a stray Puppy Drum. As you venture south towards warmer water, Hatteras and Ocracoke still continue to catch Puppy Drum when conditions are provided. If you get the chance, plan a day trip, come see us for your catching equipment and take a ride down there for the day!
Sound Fishing Report:
We are waiting for you to go so when can have a report! Still no one to my knowledge has giving it a try here lately. You and I both know that the Drum and Trout have to be snapping back there soon!

Inshore Boats Report:
I do not believe that anyone has fished inshore in a while via boat. I’m ready for someone to send me some pictures so they can be the first inshore hero of the year.
Offshore Boats Report
I finally got a full detailed report from the offshore guys later last night about yesterday. It sounded like they found a good area of fish and there were several commercial, charter and recreational boats on them. From what I heard, there were about a dozen fish landed between all the boats ranging from small fish in the 60 inch range to as big as 90 inches. Hopefully the Bluefin fishing continues to get better and last longer because there is still plenty more to be caught!
