TW's Daily Fishing Report- 03/23/2015
It’s another overcast day here on the Outer Banks with the winds out of the north-northeast around 15-25. Little bit more wind that we’ve been used to the past few days but still not too bad! The air temperature today is in the low 40’s and currently is 42 degrees. Our water temperature at Duck Research Pier as of now is 43 degrees. Today may be worth battling the winds to go catch dinner!

Surf Fishing Report:
This morning we have had a few reports of Dogfish and Skates between Corolla and Nags Head. A little south of here, Hatteras reported Dogfish as well with the occasional Puppy Drum. Ocracoke still remains to have good Puppy Drum fishing.
Sound Fishing Report:
There has been a few Stripers caught in the sound here in the past day or so but nothing to write home about. Hopefully we start to see more action soon!
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Closed
Nags Head: Closed
Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates
Outer Banks: Closed
Inshore Boats Report:
There are a few Stripers around the bridges, but as far as inshore in the ocean, not so much.
Offshore Boats Report
There were a decent number of Bluefins caught yesterday ranging from all sizes. As for today, I do not believe anyone was able to make it because of the weather.
