In Summary:

Today on the Outer Banks the weather has remained overcast all morning so far and the temperatures are still pretty chilly. Our temperature here today is in the low 40’s and the wind has slowly decreased throughout the morning. The wind as of now is out of the northwest around 10-15 knots. The water temperature today is staying pretty consistent at 43 degree and dirty. Another great day to go tackle shopping!

Surf Fishing Report:

Throughout the morning we still have not had any reports of surf fishing in the area because of the weather. With the winds slowly dying out, we may have some reports of fish later this evening. The surf fishing from Hatteras to Ocracoke has still been consistent with good catches of Puppy Drum when the weather allows it.

Sound Fishing Report:
I have not heard of anyone that has given it a try this morning around here. In the southern parts of the sound, the Puppy Drum fishing has been good.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Closed

Nags Head: Closed

Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates

Outer Banks: Closed

Inshore Boats Report:
Rough and cold today! Nobody has tried it today so far.

Offshore Boats Report:

I did not hear of any boats sailing this morning because of the weather. Hopefully tomorrow or Monday they will be able to get back at it!
