It is a cold day on the Outer Banks. The wind is NW at 20 and the air temp is 38 degrees. We have rough water at 59 degrees. The weekend fishing looks good with rising temp in the 60’s by Sunday.

There are some diehard fishermen on the OBX pier this morning. They have hooked one no keeper Drum.

There were scattered Black Drum and Sea Mullet caught yesterday from the surf. Dan Massie caught his keeper Drum and Flounder in Avon on Thanksgiving Day. He also caught lots of Mullet, some Trout and Bluefish.

The Fleet should sail this weekend.
