Surf Fishing Report:
We have had pretty heavy rain this morning and there will probably be showers off and on most of the day.
Sea Mullet and Croakers were hooked on our beaches yesterday. Croakers were plentiful in Corolla.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching bottom fish, Trout and Drum. Flounder will be in season Aug 16th and the Little Bridge anglers will certainly be glad when that comes about.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: No contact. They are well known for people leaving the Tele off.
Nags Head: Croakers, Mullet and Spot.
Jennette’s: Sheeps Head and Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Croakers.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Pirates Cove Marina reported the nearshore fleet caught Albacore, Ribbonfish and Spanish. The Inlet Anglers had catches of Trout and Striped Bass.
Offshore Boats Report:
No report.
The winds are N at 1 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Partly sunny, calm winds, flat Ocean.
