Surf Fishing Report:
It was overall slow yesterday for the surf fishermen. We have high NE wind at 23 and the water temp is 70 degrees. It is sweatshirt weather. For the surf fishermen who can brave the wind and rough surf will most likely beach a Drum today.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Roanoke Island causeway reported keeper Stripers and Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 6 Red Drum this morning. 25 last night.
Nags Head: 2 Red Drum. Nothing else biting.
Jennette’s: 2 Bull Red Drum, a couple of Croaker.
Outer Banks: A couple Spot.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore fleet had a nice catch of Bluefish, Amberjack and Gray Trout. Inshore had plenty of Drum and some Flounder. Miss Oregon Inlet caught Croaker, Sea Mullet and Spot.
Offshore Boats Report:
Bluewater boats finished with loads of Yellowfin and Blackfin. Plenty of Dolphin and some Wahoo were also caught.
