Surf Fishing Report:

No rain in the forecast. We are more than ready for a week of sun. Plenty of small Black Drum, Blues and Trout, some keepers were caught along our beaches Tuesday. Derek Wilson sent in a nice picture of a rainbow, and pictures letting me know his the catches are really small. They opened Ramp 4 yesterday. It had been closed because of high water.

The winds are NW at 6 and the water temp is 69 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Anglers fishing from the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching plenty of Trout, some keepers, Puppy Drum and small Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: The pier has caught 2 Drum and lost one this morning. Small Trout and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Bluefish and Spot.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch, Trout, Bluefish Spot, Black Drum and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Spot, Croaker, Trout, Sand Perch and Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore and Nearshore fleet are catching a large amount of Blues. A few Albacore were also caught. Miss Oregon Inlet, the headboat decked Flounder, Sea Bass, Sea Robin, Sea Mullet, Croaker, Blues and Pins and Pigs.


Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater fleet found the Yellowfin and Blackfin yesterday plus an good amount of Dolphin. Several Wahoo were caught and King Mackerel as well.
