Surf Fishing Report:
There were Drum and bottom fish caught yesterday. The water was and still is muddy and grassy.
The wind is SE at 20 and the water temp is 70 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway caught keeper Stripers, small Trout and some Puppy Drum yesterday. With the wind gusting to 30 today, the bridge would be the place to be.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Catching Red Drum. Not any of the piers are catching bottom fish this morning.
Nags Head: Red Drum early and 3 last night.
Jennette’s: Red Drum. Big run of Drum last night.
Outer Banks: Slow.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
One nearshore boat sailed caught plenty of Bluefish.
Miss Oregon Inlet caught Trout, Flounder, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Croaker.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet is catching plenty of Blackfin and Yellowfin. There was a citation Big-eye caught weighing in at 167 lbs. There were 4 Wahoo caught. Two of them citations.
