Surf Fishing Report:

Some nice pan size Bluefish in the surf. The locals will tell you just soak them in milk and soy sauce and frying up. Plenty of small Trout, some keepers. Small Spot, Sea Mullet and Drum at ramp 4.

The water is calm. The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 68 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers and Trout, some keepers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: One big Drum and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Trout.

Jennette’s: Spot, Bluefish, Black Drum and Speckle Trout.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Puffers, Spot and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore Anglers caught Albacore and plenty of Bluefish trolling along the beaches. A wreck fishing trip out of Pirates Cove Marina caught a decent catch of Sea Bass.

Inshore decked plenty of Bluefish, a 54 lb Cobia and released Red Drum.


Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater Fleet caught a good number of Yellowfin, some Wahoo and scattered Dolphin.
