Surf Fishing Report:
The fishing was tough yesterday with rough nasty water and loads of grass. TW’s Wheeler Johnson and friend J. T. Davis manage to catch 3 at Oregon Inlet. They were using 8 oz’s and it was not holding. Luke Kiger caught Bluefish, Pinfish and no keeper Stripers fishing the public docks under the bridge across from Pirates Cove. A good place to fish when surf fishing conditions are tough. A better fishing day today. The winds are W at 5 and the water temp has dropped to 68 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a good Striper weekend.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Mullet, Trout and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Spot, Croaker, Mullet and Trout.
Jennette’s: Spot, small Flounder, Bluefish and Gray Trout.
Outer Banks: A Pompano, Black Drum and Bluefish.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
No report. Rough conditions.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet did not sail yesterday due to high winds.
