Surf Fishing Report:

Lots of Black Drum and small Trout along our beaches. Scattered Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum and Blues were also caught yesterday. Wayne Castro caught a throwback 31 in Drum and a 24 in keeper Puppy Drum. Linda Harper sent a text saying there are some keeper Trout this morning. (Pictures).

The water is clear and calm this morning. Good Trout and Bluefish water.

The winds are N at 2 and the water temp is 63 degrees pier end.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Stripers and Flounder. Water not moving at all. Slow fishing.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: 2 Red Drum, nice size Bluefish, one 2 pounder. Lots of menhaden in the water.

Nags Head: Loads of Bluefish and some Spot.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, small Trout and Puffers.

Outer Banks: Bluefish and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats caught good catches of Bluefish and nice size Albacore. The inlet boats are decking Spot, Sea Mullet, Sea Bass, and Flounder.


Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet was back at it yesterday and caught a good amount of Blackfin, some Yellowfin, and a few Dolphin are still hanging around. Wahoo as well with a 36 pounder.
