Surf Fishing Report:
There were scattered Drum, Sea Mullet and Bluefish yesterday. Lots of sargrassum seaweed on the beaches. Tough fishing. I have pictures of Drum this morning. Jim LaRock Kayaked is line out after dark and beached this 46 Drum immediately after. It was his first Red Drum. Ken Baker caught his 26 in Drum off the Little Bridge and Bradford Stevens caught a throw back from Kitty Hawk Bay. Trout and Drum fishing was good last fall from the shore all around Kitty Hawk Bay. My neighbors on Bay Drive caught them from their backyards.
We have N winds at 9 and the water temp is 72 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some keeper Stripers yesterday. The Striper season started Oct 1st. 2 per person per day at 18 in TL minimum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: God run of nice Spot, Bluefish and throwback Trout.
Nags Head: Drum, Spot, Croaker and Blues off the end.
Jennette’s: Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Loads of Spot.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore had a good catch of Bluefish. Inshore caught Spot, Gray Trout and many Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Fishing was slow for the fleet yesterday. They brought in a few Dolphin, Blackfin and Yellowfin.
