Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing continues to be fair along our beaches. Lots of small Trout, some Bluefish and small bottom fish. It’s a little nippy this morning and windy. Lots of surf fisherman on the beach this morning.
The winds are NE at 15 and the water temp is 65 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Albacore and small Trout. Caught 30 Red Drum yesterday and all night.
Nags Head: Bluefish and 2 Red Drum. 4 last night.
Jennette’s: Small Trout, Blues, Puffers, Spot and 2 Red Drum. Caught 18 Red Drum yesterday.
Outer Banks: Black Drum, Sea Mullet, Bluefish. Caught a couple of in the slot Puppies and 2 keeper Flounders yesterday
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore and inshore fleet decked Blues, Albacore, a 19 in Striper and good numbers of Sheepshead. The Inlet boats are catching Flounder, Spot, Croaker, Sea bass and Flounder.
Offshore Boats Report:
The good news is the Yellowfin have returned. The fleet caught some really nice ones yesterday. They caught a good amount of Dolphin and some Blackfin with a Mako as well. There were 2 White Marlin releases.
