Surf Fishing Report:
Plenty of Trout in the surf, ever so often a keeper is caught. Anglers are catching a few Sea Mullet, small Blues and Drum.
The winds are SW at 4 and the water temp is 66 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Small Trout and small Stripers.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.
Nags Head: Spot, Blues and 2 Red Drum.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Trout
Outer Banks: Small Trout, Bluefish, Puffers, Black Drum, Spot and small Puppies.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The offshore fleet continues to catch a large amount of Bluefish and plenty of Albacore. The inshore boats reported Speckle Trout, Spadefish, Sea Bass, Sheepshead, and some beautiful Stripers.
Offshore Boats Report:
It was a good day for Wahoo, good catches of Yellowfin and Blackfin and scattered Dolphin.
