Surf Fishing Report:

The conditions are tough this morning with high winds and rough water.

There were scattered Sea Mullet, plenty of small Trout and Bluefish in the surf Sunday.
TW’s Hampton Sylvia caught a 44 in Drum and an Albacore. Hampton said the Albacore was caught on trout rod with 10lbs braid and took all but about 50yrds of my 220 yards of line!!!! But I managed to turn him around!!! (Pictures).

The winds are NE at 24 and the water temp is 63 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

Kevin Reardon fished the pier on the west side of Baum Bridge Sunday and caught Trout and Stripers.

There is a report of good Striper fishing in the Croatan sound.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Bluefish, Trout and 1 Red Drum.

Nags Head: Bluefish, Trout and 1 Red Drum.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Trout and 4 Red Drum.

Outer Banks: Blues and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore Anglers caught loads of Bluefish and good amount of Albacore. Inlet anglers caught some Blues, Sea Mullet, Flounder and Croakers.


Offshore Boats Report:
The Fleet caught Wahoo, plenty of Blackfin, some Yellowfin, a decent amount of Dolphin and a few King Mackerel. There was a Sailfish and Blue Marlin release.
