Surf Fishing Report:
It was a good day for Surf anglers. Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum, small Trout, Blues and Puppy Drum were beached. The Largemouth Bass, (picture) is that not a beautiful fish?
Today the water has laid down some but is still rough. The sun is shining and the weekend looks good.
The winds are NW at 14 and the water temp is 63 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Stripers and small Trout.
The anglers fishing the Oregon Inlet bridge catwalk caught Sheepshead and Bluefish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet. 3 big Reds last night.
Nags Head: Small Trout and more small Trout.
Jennette’s: Spot, Bluefish, Sea Mullet Gray Trout and Puffers.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, small Flounder, small Trout, Spot and Blow Toads.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Only 2 boats went out yesterday. The inlet boat had good Bluefish and Sheepshead catches and the other caught plenty of Stripers in Croatan sound.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet stayed laid to the docks.
