Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing should be good today. The water and wind has calmed and it’s a beautiful day on the Outer Banks. The Trout fishermen are out this morning. There were Bluefish, Sea Mullet and small Trout caught along our beaches yesterday.
The winds are N at 7 and the water temp is 65 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, a few keepers, Rockfish and Puppies.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: One Red Drum and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Puppy Drum, Bluefish and Trout.
Jennette’s: Spot, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Puffers, Trout and Red Drum.
Outer Banks: Speckle Trout, Gray Trout, Bluefish, Blow Toads and Black Drum.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inlet boats are catching some nice Blues and Sheepshead. The inshore boats are catching nice Stripers. Miss Oregon Inlet caught Sea Mullet, Sea Bass, Puffers and Croaker. Today is the last day the headboat will sail this season.
Offshore Boats Report:
A few boats went out and found some Yellowfin, Black fin and a generous amount of Dolphin. A citation Wahoo was also reported.
