Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Drum on the beaches. Surf fisherman had to deal with grass for the last several days. Mark Andrews kept looking, found a hole in Carova with little grass and caught a 26 ¾ in Pup. Jake Worthington caught 6 citation Red Drum from the Avalon Pier.
The wind Is NW at 13 and the water temp is 70 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported one 12 in Striper, other than that, slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A few Spot and Pigs. Caught 5 Drum early morning and 16 last night.
Nags Head: Spot and Croaker. A few Drum early.
Jennette’s: Croakers Blues and Gray Trout.
Outer Banks: Spot. Grass has thinned.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats reported good catches of Bluefish and some Trout. While inshore fleet caught Red Drum and Specks.

Offshore Boats Report:
High winds and rough water made the conditions to tough to sail.
