Surf Fishing Report:
The Drum bite continues to be good. Shane Dempsey and sons fishing S. Nags Head caught 8. North of the Inlet and Coquina beach reported good catches of Drum. Small Bluefish and Spot are scattered on the beaches.
The wind is SW at 6 this morning. The water is 70 degrees. We have small swells.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway caught Strippers, Trout and Croakers over the weekend.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Spot.
Nags Head: Spot and a few keeper Drum.
Jennette’s: Blues, Spot, Sea Mullet and throwback Trout.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Spot and Blues.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore boats caught Drum.
Offshore Boats Report:
Oregon Inlet boats stayed at the docks. One boat sailed out of Pirates Cove and released 3 Blue marlin and 1 white.
