Surf Fishing Report:
The action was good yesterday. There were scattered Drum, Bluefish, Sea Mullet and small Trout.
Another beautiful day on the Outer Banks. No rain in site until Saturday. We have calm SW winds. The water temp is 70 degrees. Light swells again today.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Drum, Stripers and Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Mullet, Spot, Flounder and Trout.
Nags Head: Trout, Bluefish and Spot
Jennette’s: Gray Trout, Spot and Sand Perch.
Outer Banks: Spot, Sea Mullet and Pompano
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The Nearshore boats had a good Bluefish bite and the inshore boats caught Gray Trout, Puppy Drum, Flounder and Blues.
Offshore Boats Report:
The boats were back in the water yesterday and reported a good day of fishing. There were limits of Dolphin, scattered Blackfin (one 24 lb citation) and Yellowfin. A 49 lb citation Wahoo was also caught. The boats bottom fishing caught Grouper (2 citations, 23 and 26 lb) and Tilefish. One White Marlin released.
