Surf Fishing Report:
There was a report of some Sea Mullet and Blow Toads caught on the Island and some Reds at the point. The news on this side of the bridge is scarce. I am sure there is some fish to be caught.. Flounder season starts this Sunday on the 16th.
Thunder storms and light showers are up and down the beaches this morning.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching some keeper Trout, Stripers, Flounder and Croakers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Mullet.
Nags Head: Spot and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Sand Perch.
Outer Banks: Little Sheepshead.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The Inlet boats caught Speckle Trout, Spanish, Albacore and Ribbonfish. Red Drum catches has been over the top recently. So has Speckle Trout and Drum catches in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
There has been a lot of flags flying the last couple days. The annual Billfish tournament always brings much excitement. The fleet brought in some Blackfin yesterday with Mahi and limits of Tilefish.

The winds are W at 8 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Sunny, thunder storms, light winds, flat Ocean. swells.
