We are having rough seas again today. Sun is out this morning and expecting rain this afternoon through Tuesday morning. The wind is NE at 23 and the water temp is 50 degrees this morning.
Top sustained winds Sunday at the Army Corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck was 41 mph. We are expecting high winds again today. The overwash threat will continue on the ocean side of the Outer Banks.
